Is it normal i want to look deathly skinny?

I'm sick and tired of looking "normal". I just want to be super skinny. REALLY skinny. Is this normal? My friends say it's not, but I think I would look better.

Chances are that you look great the way you are now. Anorexia does not equal beautiful.

You'd look like a model, which is apparently "better" but honestly isn't.

Anorexia seems to be normal nowadays, but that doesn't make it right.

That is called anorexia.. ya know, the eating disorder that has killed more than a million people total...

Its not normal. See a psychiatrist.

  • Being deathly thin or overtly thin and wanting to look that way could mean you have an eating disorder, which is serious, potentially. Go get help. Love yourself for what ou look like, and remember how many girls would kill to look "normal" sized.

girl...im 20, 1,70m and i weight 42kg. You dont wanna be skinny, i would fuking LOVE to gain at least like 6kg just so that i can fucking wear pants!! i cant find jeans that fit me properly cause my legs and hips are way too skinny, everything always looks baggy so im doomed to wearing leggings with long tops otherwise its just plain embarassing.
Oh and when you get too skinny for your bone structure, your back starts looking gross when you move (my bathroom has mirrors all around so trust me)

That bad! I've seen someone who was truley deathly skinny and it looked horrible. When this person would wear jeans it looked as if a skeleton was wearing them.

Very normal, but be smart about it. I've lost allot of weight and gained back some. I feel excellent, except for a few things, but despite having pro's there are also cons. Some cons I've had to deal with are baggy jeans are the verge of falling off, my family threatening to send me to a hospital & "stigma" from the people in my doctors office. I used be about 87 pounds, but when I got in there I was about 92 something. I could've sworn I they I told them about my vegetarianism, but they ordered me to take a blood test! What a painful experience that was!!! See how "professionals" can carry on? If you do it, do it in a smart and healthy fashion. There are also tips online if you need them.
