Is it normal i want to live in a tent?

It seems so Ideal to buy a army tent a bunch of supplies get a solar panel go to the woods and finally live in peace. I know a lot about survival so it would be easy for me. I have put a lot of though into this the only negative I have came up with is bathing when its cold. Any feedback would be great.

You might consider getting a small sail boat instead. There are many thousands of abandoned boats around the country you could get for free and fix up into a pretty nice little abode. You can get far from other people and yet have the ability to travel, without packing up all your stuff and unpacking it when you get somewhere new. It's better all weather shelter and has a bed, a table, lighting, cooking facilities and even some sort of toilet/shower set up. Of course, if mountains are your thing, sailboats won't get you there.

Yeah I know, I think I saw one as a child! But it could have been the next door neighbor. Burning the caterpillar nests, off the trees.

I'd vote, but that would make it change to something other than 69%.

Why don't you just set up a tent in your back yard or I don't know... in your house. That's much better, you know? Or you could live in an ... what are those things called in the arctic where Eskimos live? It'll be cold but whatever get a coat.

I've always wondered how survivalists bathe in low temperatures.

As long as the weather is nice, it's a great idea. However, imagine being all alone somewhere in the woods and you get heavy weather. Storm, heavy rain, you name it. Not so much fun anymore then.

Absolutely. Before I had a child, I made it a point to live as a survivalist. Give me a couple tools, water, bit of clothe and I am content. Waking up outside, early in the morning feels refreshing and motivating for another day of survival.
Now though, I have things tying me down to a more complicated life.
    Responsibilities.. Know what I'm sayin'?

I do indeed! I can be a bit immature at times so I can see why it could throw people off.
