I'm female and I keep thinking how great it would be if I had a (male) "masculine-ish" gay transvestite friend!! I think it's because I prefer to have guy friends rather than girls but guy friends always seem to complicate friendships by wanting more. BUT...I don't want a flat-out gay guy friend that acts all flambouyant and is a sissy and all fashion-conscious. I think a tranny friend would be perfect! A kinda-sorta gay guy (a manly man who likes gay sex but you would never expect it) who's rough around the edges and is sorta into girl stuff but isn't a diva.

Any other gals feel like this?

Sounds reasonable...girls r such big bitches sometimes but guys don't always understand you only wanna be friends...makes sense:)

I agree with you! Girls can be such bitches and boys always expect more from you, but a manly gay friend would be perfect. Shopping, skating, and everything else is possible with them haha!

OK, here's a better explanation since no one seems to "get it".

I want a FREIND who just so happens to also be a transvestite male. Is that better?

Of course I know not all trannys are the same. I'd choose a tranny friend the same way I'd choose any other friend. Being a tranny would be the icing on the cake so to speak, I do believe we would be a friendship made in heaven!

  I'm a guy, so I can't really respond to this. Although the way I see it, I could never have enough female friends to discuss my transvestism with. Women know beauty best, and for a TV to take beauty issues to another guy, is like trying to take a broken down car to a plumber for repairs.

I totally get that! Yeah, that's fine. Not terrible common, so not quite 'normal', so yeah :P but it's fine to be like that. Some types of people just work together!

"trannys" are not half girl half boy. If you even insinuate that you think this, be prepared for a pronoun lecture. They tend to be righteous in their beliefs and do not allow others to define them.

You are stereotyping gay people. They come in all shapes and sizes. What you are looking for is friends.

Sounds like what you're really looking for are the qualities you mentioned. It will be a much slimmer chance that you will find that in a tranny; and not so realistic to look in that direction. You just have to find that guy friend who wont find you sexually attractive, thats all!

Plus I'm sure any guy who was like that might be insulted considering you only want to be friends with them because of the tranvestism etc.
