Is it normal i've smoke weed 3 times a day for the past month

I'm 19 and about a month ago I was in love with a girl unlike anyone else, someone who was beautiful, pretty, and shared every interest I had... until she had to move to New Mexico... Ever since she left I started smoking weed constantly... my studies haven't slipped I'm just depressed whenever I'm not high anymore.. I miss what life used to be like but things just don't feel as good without her with me and I'll never see her again..

It's not that big of a deal so long as you are able to go about your normal daily activities, or you have no activities to take part in. Weed is not physically addictive so the only withdrawal symptoms would be psychological, like feeling super bored and wanting some weed. The truth about marijuana is that each person handles it differently and you have to decide what's right for you. If you feel like smoking three times a day is interfering with your life in a negative way then find something else to fill your time so you don't miss it when you quit. If you like smoking weed all the time and you feel like it enriches your life then enjoy it. There are more political reasons that marijuana is illegal than there are medical ones. While inhaling plant matter into your lungs a few times a day obviously will be damaging, I feel the most harmful aspect is it's legal status.

On the other hand, If you're using any sort of drug as a crutch for emotional damage you should think twice. Depression and isolation are a dangerous mix but with the emotion-amplifying effect of marijuana things can go bad. Hang out with friends more. Even chat with people on line, just get back in touch with other things in the world. :-) Pain is a necessary fact of life, but life isn't painful all the time and if you think about it i'm sure there are lots of things you still enjoy about life, maybe weed being one of them?

not necesserally abnormal or normal.. just idiotic imo :/ to ever get into a habit that can have long lasting negative effects on yourself or others (if u care) is a dumb thing to do.. (i used to smoke 4grams of skunk(chemically modified Cannabis) everyday for about 2 years solid... did not do any good!!)

I've smoked about that much for the past 8 months. Perfectly normal if you ask me but it's only normal when you can get along doing your daily routine. Marijuana is used to treat depression as far as I'm concerned. I have it and it's declined significantly since I started smoking even when I'm not high.

Just stay away from pills and other drugs. They are not all created equal. Salvia can be pretty cool now that I think about it though. Shrooms to just because you can't overdose, die or abuse them.

dude a month is nothing. try a year or more and watch your life go down the shitta. my advice is to stop for a week and see how you feel (you'll feel great) and replace GF activites with exercising and hobbies. its hard but JUST DO IT
