About 10 years ago I counterfeited money. I remember my Dad bought an epson printer/scanner. I remember from watching Beavis and Butt-Head how to make money on the copy machine, so I decided to give it a try. I took that money to the gas station and tried to fill my gas tank. They knew it was fake so I gave them a real one for my gas instead. By the time I got to my car there were several troopers there but I didn't notice until I was already pumping my gas. They searched me and found the rest of them in the ash tray. I went to jail but instead of getting the original 10 years in prison, I got 3 days because the money looked so fake.

      No, i just used a 5$ bill to make them. I did print both sides though.

    Me too, but I did it with Monopoly money. Nobody ever suspects anyone of counterfeiting Monopoly money. You hide it all up your sleeves then play Monopoly with people and have a €100 bet on who'll win.

    You have to get it out of your sleeves before you wash your clothes, though. Laundering money is an offence.

          I didn't actually do it as bad as Beavis and Butt Head. I did both sides with color and used a paper cutter. I just like the show a lot. I'm sure I would have done it anyways without watching it.

    I would pull this off too if the counterfeit bills had that slightly-rough feel to them and a bit of transparency, although I would never try this with fifty and one-hundred dollar bills.

    I did try printing money once. It really didn't look too bad, but felt completely wrong. So I had more sense than to try and use it. If you're going to try and pass counterfeit money, it has to be at least good enough that you can claim it fooled YOU.
