look ijs in my experiences with talking to women they don't verbally communicate. in other ways yea (body language, facial expressions etc...) they think the man or significant other is to automatically know everything and solve their bs
Whether it's due to something genetic or upbringing, women do tend to be better at picking up non-verbal cues and detecting nuances in what's said. Since they're good at it, many young women assume that men are far better at it than we really are. They therefore conclude that if we don't acknowledge their annoyance, that can only be because we're obnoxious, uncaring shitheads.
All sensible guys eventually learn what you've apparently just figured out. If they care about a woman, they learn to be a bit more attentive to posture, silences, tone of voice and so on. (Which doesn't make it any less exasperating when an immature woman persists in believing that if we _really_ cared, we'd just _know_ what was bothering them, but at least we can pick up on the fact that _something_ is bothering them.)
Sensible women eventually learn that they have to assume that, unless they (figuratively) whack us on the head with a plank, we're probably not going to realise that they're pissed off about something, and we usually have no idea what it might be.
Sensible people of both genders eventually figure out that silent sulking isn't really a positive way to deal with something that's bothering them, and actually talking things through honestly and calmly usually works a hell of a better.
Yeah, for all the talking they do, women just don't know how to talk to a guy. It's really stupid: they want something, and instead of telling the guy what they want, they wait for him to figure it out.
