People are hoping he fails just to say 'I told ya so'. Whether you voted for him or not, he's the president and if he fucks up real bad, we're all screwed. I don't like him and I am pretty anxious about what he will do but even so, I hope he does net positive for us.
Our planet is at the brink of a sixth mass extinction and yet everyone is focused on immigration and civil liberties. It's sad how easily people are distracted.
Well he may antagonize the fuck out of other countries and if he gets offended it may be the first World War caused by a tweet
Safe to say it's gonna be entertaining at least
no its not normal because trump has no experience, is a rapist (as over 10 woman have said) and watched girls as young as 8 get naked during his days when he hosted pageants, also he hates muslums for no reason and wants o basically throw the first amendment out of the window "freedom of religion"
He's done more in a week than some presidents have done in a year. Whether you approve or disapprove of him--nobody still thinks of him as unqualified.
What? All of the things he's done in his first week have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that's he's unqualified. Doing things for the sake of doing things isn't a good thing. In this case, it's a very bad thing. Everything he's done is poorly planned, poorly worded, and poorly executed. It's easy to tell he's in way over his head.
Plus most Americans disapprove of his actions and his poll numbers are declining.
I'm going to guess that you disapprove of him, so much in fact, you're neck-deep in cognitive dissonance. In your mind he is a bumbling clown who doesn't know what he's doing, so everything he does is bad and not well-done.
But in the mind of his voters and those mature enough to break out of the Red vs Blue battle, Trump is fulfilling his campaign promises and that's worth a whole lot of respect:
1. Freezed regulations
2. Killed the TPP
3. Easier to deport undocumented immigrants
4. Giving the go-ahead for the Dakota Access Pipeline
5. Started negotiations for building the wall
6. Increased vetting from terror-prone countries
That's week 1. Do yourself a favor: become objective about Trump, of you're in for 8 years of mental gymnastics.
The account "factcheck" is someone who is so deep into the liberal rhetoric that they seem to be completely unable to be objective at all regarding anything political. Trump has started off his presidency with exactly what he talked about on the campaign, a refreshing change from most politicians. This account is a shining example of how dangerous media propaganda really is when it rolls on unchecked and unverified. They've defended that men with a lot of sexual partners and women with a lot sexual partners should be considered the same.
Anyone with any common sense knows men and women who engage with many different sexual partners will never be viewed in the same way. I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I'm just pointing out how society views it and will always view it.
Which connections are you talking about? Her billions of dollars in debt to foreign banks or the people who worked on her campaign while being paid by Putin? Oh wait...
The Russians did a great job of implanting fake news in your head through social media. Sad that the ignorant are so vulnerable now.
I'm not on social media, but nice try. I get my information from my brother and he is not on social media either. I could have him come on here and explain if you'd like.
Your comment about being at the brink of a sixth mass extinction is very insightful, most people refuse to debate it because it's too "scary" I guess, idk. But it's very relevant. It took us as a species millions of years to get to the first billion and then we literally quadruple that in only 200 yrs, I'd say bad things are coming for all of us, regardless of politics.
Funny how you dismiss all of the truth that the media tell you about Trump, but buy into all the lies the white supremacists tell about Clinton. It's funny because it's all projections - all of the claims you make about Hillary actually apply to Trump. Unlike Hillary, he's actually a criminal. He's been convicted of fraud. Unlike Hillary, he's actually corrupt. He's already made it clear he's putting the best interests of his business over the interests of the country. Unlike Hillary, he's actually looking to instigate a war and ignite WW3. Except he wants to be on the same side as Russia, against China and Europe, which Russia wants to invade.
Why did you delete my reply that tells the TRUTH about you and your kind, you filthy CUNT BITCH?!! Is that you on youtube, wearing a light green jacket, glasses and a black wool hat, looking like a "gender fluid" freakazoid, screaming out your mental illness at the Trump inauguration for all & sundry to see and laugh at? And that teary, incoherent "interview" that you gave, again displaying your mental illness for all to see and laugh at!! You have a defender on here, a gay pervert that was on "To Catch a Predator" some years back.
I just don't know. I'm taking a wait and see approach (as if I really had any other options...) I definitely don't like HIM, but I do kind of like the fact that he's different. It could be good or bad, but I don't know why so many people are acting like it's the end of the world/country/whatever.
Or to give a more concrete example, lot's of people seem to believe he's anti-gay rights for some reason, but this was never one of the issues he campaigned on. I mean he's probably not pro-gay rights either, but I see no reason to think his administration will be a nightmare for same-sex couples or anything. Yet this just seems to be taken for granted.
When it comes to gay rights, it's not so much Donald Trump as it is Mike Pence. Pence is one of the most openly bigoted politicians in the country today. So you can defend Trump's statements on gay rights, but you can't say his "administration" won't be a nightmare for same-sex couples.
And the other nightmare for same-sex couples is Trump's judges. We know what kind of far right lunatics he's going to try to nominate. He's already put out lists, and they include known bigots. While he might not be targeting gay rights specifically, by picking judges that are anti-choice and anti-union and anti-free speech and anti-gun control, gay rights will also end up in the crosshairs.
