Is it normal i think this would help safety on the freeway/highway?

They have special paint that looks green or white in the day but glows at night. I think they should paint the stripes of the road with this paint instead of the paint they do now. So people could see where they are going in the night time.

    We already have that in California. I'm pretty sure they have this in most paved areas that I have driven in, which is why my Mom gave me the speech about Fog Lines (if you can't see, always stick to the fog line).

    In many areas they do use a reflective white or yellow paint for the lines on the road for better visability. But it fades over time. And here, green is reserved for bike lanes. But all paint requires maintenance and funding.
