    The Commandant seems to be petty, trivial and frivolous, as well as unnecessarily violent and potentially dangerous.
    Yes, I would remove him from a command position.

    This type of irrationality is sometimes present in some people currently, so be careful with people who are likely to act this way, like police, and be prepared to defend yourself from them.
