Im a musician and I dont really give a fuck if my music is given away for free over the internet. I even have put my own albums online for free. Ive never made a penny being an artist. Its part of being an artist. And I use pirated software to make my music btw. Who gives a fuck.

Well it should be if your a Somali pirate, but if you just want the new whatever album and you don't feel like paying iTunes 15 bucks for it, you don't deserve to die. I think the artist who bitch about free downloads are greedy. Music making is about invoking feeling in your listeners, not a cash profit.
So what if it's illegal. I think that whatever they lose from piracy is made up for in their countless advertisements, endorsements, albums, films, perfumes, make-up, clothing and fuck knows what else they slap their name on.

Erm.....just to point out.....piracy is illegal. I wouldn't condone a death sentence except possibly for the vicious sea pirates someone else mentioned.
However, this laid back "so what" attitude, does not consider that in fact it is against the law.
good god i hope that was a troll post. artists used to be poor. you know why? because they did their art for the sake of art, not for money. vincent van gogh died a poor man having sold only one of his paintings. buying paint in place of food. i think artists are over paid. any artist complaining of being cheated out of money by someone pirating should be put to death without trial.
From my experience, it has always been that the kids who make fun of pirates are usually just jealous. Not paying for music is great. Besides there are a lot of rap artist that rap about stealing, so why should they complain about when people steal their music? Pirating is just a way to enjoy all the luxuries that companies offer without having to pay. However, if you want to hear some good news on your part then you should know that mega uploads, a great pirating website, got shut down and the owner is being sentenced to jail.
