OK, I know there's MUCH more to the Arab-Israeli conflict than what I'm about to say, but I DO believe Palestinian stubbornness is the MOST important factor in the entire conflict. There could EASILY be peace.

It's often been said that if the Palestinians were to lay down their arms, there would be peace, but if the Israelis were to lay down their arms, there would be genocide. This is exactly 100% correct. The Israelis have very little choice.

In case you haven't noticed, the VAST majority of Palestinians are Islamic and Islam hates Jews. Palestinians don't hate Jews because of Israel, they hate Israel because of Jews. Even if Israel didn't exist, Islam would STILL hate Jews.

Israel has been attacked by a coalition of Arab/Islamic states SEVERAL times and these clowns got beat EVERY single time. I'm not some religious nutjob (I'm atheist), but I'm glad Israel exists, because it is the first line of defense against the global threat of Islam.

Israel is a beacon of light of an ocean of barbaric Islamic darkness. Palestinians have more rights in Israel, than in ANY Arab/Islamic country, so I think they need to STFU.

      @ OP:Notice how none of the Arab states allowed the Palestinians to settle in their countries. They were refugees and need to be thankful Israel took them in. It's Israel's land given to them in the days of Abraham, Isaac(not Ishmael) and Jacob. God chose Jacob(renamed Israel) for his own people.

    Its basically a lot like Syria, a political hot potato, its also the same reason why the apartheid government in south Africa hold out so long - The Alawites in Syria, the Jews in Isreal and the Afrikaners in South Africa are all cultures with their backs against the wall and totally outnumbered by hostile populations, they have to keep fighting or its tickets basically

    Islam doesn't hate Jews, Muslims hate Zionists. There is a difference. Jews have lived in Muslim countries for centuries peacefully.

    If someone comes to your house, destroys it, kills your family and builds a new house on top and moves in. Builds a fence around it and sends you to either prison or refugee camps. What would you do?

    God said the Holy Land is for the believers, as far as Muslims are concerned Jews are no longer believers, and that land doesn't belong to them any more. So even biblically Jews are not entitled to the land.

      Not if they convert to Islam, no. In ALL other cases, Islam has an intense hate for Jews, especially religious Jews.

    Oh Glob, not this. Whatever, I'll give my two cents. This entire conflict started when the British decided to promise unkeepable promises to both the Jews and Palestinians and established the Balfour Declaration which created the state of Israel and pushed out(rather violently) the Palestinians who were, in fact, born and raised there only to be told that the land was for the "God's chosen people" (you know whenever a person uses a god to justify himself that whatever they're doing is a load of bull). Israelis continued to push boundaries with the help of the U.S. and the rest of the world didn't give a damn about the Palestinians who were caught in the middle of Hamas and Israel fighting it out over a piece of "holy" dirt. So no, Palestinians have the right to what was theirs.
