Is it normal i think of men as innocent and women as conniving?

I think of men as being innocent - although I understand they're more likely than women to be violent, to be serial killers and rapists. Men are innocent in that they are just simple in their wants and needs. They mostly think about sex and gaming, etc. Just like innocent animals who want to have sex and play.

Those thoughts might not be so innocent but it still seems innocent to be mainly thinking of this when so many other people (including many other men of course) are doing evil things.

But women are much more likely to have hidden agendas. If you look at women who have killed, the majority do so because of money - whereas the majority of men kill because of sexual urges (serial killers anyway). Women also lie and manipulate to get what they want. I only say that against women because this society seems to promote women as being really innocent and men as being really bad.

Not actually against women of course :)

    Both men and women are capable of doing horrendous things. The only difference is that women are better at hiding their intentions. And when a woman does something evil, she more often than not does it by proxy, usually manipulating a man into doing the dirty work for her.

      Yeah, that's fairly accurate, but men can be excellent manipulators as well. One thing is for sure is there are some fucked up evil people out there.

    TL;DR: Women are given more opportunity and given less accountability when doing negative things, so it opens a route to do negative things without as much a risk as a man doing it, so women engage in it more. It's moreso a case of how society thinks than what women are naturally like, in my opinion.

    Long version:
    I kind of agree. I think men are more capable of doing evil things and are capable of doing the most evil things, however I think because of the way we are as a society, women get a lot of protection socially to hide their evil ways. Ofcouse, I am not saying all women are evil, just that it's far easier for women to get away with negatives in our society.

    So that actually makes me think if women are more evil or if they just have a better opportunity to do evil/bad things with less concequences, therefor without that risk factor they feel more confident in getting away with it, unlike men who have more risk of punishment so don't.

    You can think of cases like domestic violence, rape, and so on. It's more socially acceptable for it to happen to men by women than the reverse and the punishments for men and women that do so, socially, are far different.

    I think the main difference here is how we percieve men and women. Women are sweet, innocent, harmless, etc, etc, so they get all of these protections and shieldings of accountability compared to men so the option to do those things without punishment are more open to women. Men are dangerous, strong, rude, so men don't need those protections and are given full accountability for their actions, so they aren't given the protections women are given socially in regards to women who fit the male stereotype when the guy fits the female stereotype.

    Common sense dictates that some are, some aren't in both genders. Personal experiences may lead us to being biased, but logic should have us realize that we should take every person as an individual and not group them en masse with innocents.
