Is it normal i think of girls as alien?

Wait, let me back up. I don't mean I think girls are like that monster from the Sigourney Weaver film.

What I mean is when I think a girl likes me, I get worried and try to avoid her for some reason. When I'm attracted to a girl, I get worried and try to avoid her for some reason.

In short, I can't be friends with girls and I can't date them.

I may be a little screwed up.

do you lack confidence, self esteem?

I think you must become more in tune with your feelings and how to harness them in order to go with the flow. Think of your life as a painting which hasn't been finished yet. It still needs colour in it to make it interesting and work towards being complete. The elements come from personal experience. Adapt to change, acknowledge your qualities and bring them to the forefront when in a mutual attraction with the opposite sex. Your life can be a beautiful painting.

  • Once you start talking to them it gets easier, albeit that it can be nerve racking, but the more you do something (practice) the better you get at it. Women are still human beings not aliens. Give it a try, you'll probably surprise yourself.

Another prepubescent child posting where he shouldn't? Don't worry sonny, when you mature a bit you'll be fine. However, in the mean time there is a book, Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus.....

I'm kind of like this with most guys... they are so different in a... strangely beautiful kind of way, it's as though observing an exotic animal... i prefer to admire them from afar... because i'm too intimidated by them... that's probably weird too... so what you say seems normal to me... :I

Why can't you be friends with biological entities that are different than you? Everything is different than you in some way.
