I'm a big whisky man but JD is so overrated, if you want real whisky try Old Putney, Glenn Fiddich, Glenn Morangie, those are real whisky blends.

Well do not drink it. Not everyone is going to like every drink and some people do not drink Alcoholic beverages either. I could say "I hate sushi"! Does it really matter? Just because something is mainstream does not mean it is good. Just means it had so much backing that it is the most popular thing on the market. If someone does not know anything about alcohol they might think of jack Daniel if that is a popular brand. Everyone has different taste. Also I know mainstream might not apply to this but I just mean “Popular”. People also love the movie twilight. We all have different tastes.

My husband delivers Jack Daniels.They actually have a really clean facility and an awesome way of making it.It's in all honesty made the way it's been made for hundreds of years: naturally! :)

i hate jack daniels, but i hate all whiskey. I'm more of a rum n vodka kinda guy

Mmmm, I love Jack! Though I agree, definitely an acquired taste. My boy hated it at first and now he loves it. Wisers small batch is my current obsession.

You should try Old Grandad's 100 proof. It costs about the same as JD.

Almost all my friends say they love it and buy me a shot everynow and then. I lovr whiskies but Jack tastes like mildew or something

I prefer it to Scotch, but Irish is definitely where it's at. Give me a Jameson's any time. Although if you're not drinking it neat, bourbon is just about the best spirit to mix with Coke. It tastes smoky and sweet.

Oh, and don't ever drink Eastern European "white" Jack Daniels. There is more than a single measure of foulness in its character.

It's an acquired taste. Like all alcoholic beverages... so it's perfectly normal for you to hate it. Compared to many other delicious tastes, it's gross.

Alcohol is poison. Poison tastes bad. I'm not making a political statement, I'm just saying. Our tastebuds know what's up whether we admit it or not.

The smell of JD makes me want to vomit...finally someone who thinks Jack daniels is nothing but pure crap.
