Is it normal i think ciggerates might tell you to quit as well?

Everyone is always going to make a buck off of cigarettes. If its rehab, quitting patches and medications or just selling the cancer stick itself.

There is man commercials and products helping you stop smoking but there is still a lot of products telling you to smoke. They also do this with diet soda however diet soda is also sold by the same company's that sell soda. So the company that sells coke will also sell diet coke.

What is the company's that sell cigarettes are also in charge of the anti cigarette company's. They know how to get you hooked but also know how to make you quit and even if you don't you are just going to buy more cigarettes.

So its a win win on both end. Now this is not actually illegal since they would not have a monopoly. Since there is several company's that sell cigarettes. So they have plenty of competition.

Well tobacco farmers make money on any product that contains nicotine whether it is cigarettes, quitting aids, pesticides or whatever else. Nicotine patches and gum are classified as a drug and are made by drug companies, not cigarette companies.

I understand the Soda example as companies provide such products when there is demand for diet products and also to portray a positive public image measurement.

The cigarettes example you stated is a little bewildering in my opinion.

Cigarette companies are forced by law; to not openly advertise their products, the compulsory warning labels on their packages, restrictions on who can consume/purchase their products and where such products can be used. Normally most anti smoking campaigns are government sponsored due to the expected cost of health care to cater to smoking related illnesses.

Actually the government refuses to ban smoking because they make a ton of cash on taxing them.

If they did try to ban smoking, it will just drive production underground, it will be a failure as the alcohol prohibition of the 1920s.

I disagree. I've never made any American dollarbucks off cigarettes. Or heroin. And by God, I've tried.

I haven't a clue where you get your information, but I think it quite unlikely that the tobacco companies own the pharmaceutical companies that manufacture the drugs to quit smoking.
Whatever it is you are trying to say, perhaps you might want to do a bit more research before you post on this again.

Holy shit so the same company who makes diet pepsi also makes pepsi ? wow that was soo not obvious and irrelevant to your post !!!! OP you need to do your homework because you're talking out of your ass.

The tobacco companies don't put out anti smoking products so drop that conspiracy and coming from someone who most likely doesn't smoke yet alone can't spell cigarette you lose any credit you may have had.

Next time do your research, don't be a fucken tourist.

Its a fair comparison. Soda company's promote a product and sell products to keep up with people going against them.

People who are concerned about weight drink diet, and people who don't care drink regular. Either way they still make a lot of money.

I am guessing you are probably not a business man if you cant grasp such a concept. Its not like this is the most advanced concept though. You should be able to catch on.
