Is it normal i test my iron myself by tasting my blood?
I make a little cut on my finger and taste it. I have problems with iron-deficiency anemia. If I feel tired a lot, I'll do it or if I crave undercooked meat.

Why don't you just pull down your lower eyelid to see if it's dark red, pale pink or very pale? A lot easier!
But do you like the taste of it? or you just do it because you worry about your anemia? There's something called "autovampirism" and it starts pretty much by tasting your own blood and then you evolve to animals or even humans... lol i'm not saying it's your case though.
PS: you can test your iron levels by checking the inside part of your lower eyelid. If it's bright red, you're healthy, and if it's paler like pink, you need to change your diet and start eating more food that are rich in iron.
Lol dappled! To the op that may be normal. I've heard of ppl with anemia sucking on sponges or eating sponges when they feel weak or tired.
Hehe, my chemistry teacher used to work in hospital labs and whenever they got a new intern, they'd show them how they analyse stool samples. They'd part-melt a chocolate bar in the microwave and say, "The first thing you need to do is a taste test" then stick their finger in the chocolate and lick a bit off their finger.
If you want a full picture of how iron is distributed about your body, you'll also need to drink your urine, eat your liver, and suck on your bone marrow.
