I'm 20 yesrs old and I find myself sleeping with a cuddley toy. Ever since I was a young girl I have slept better with a plush toy than without. But not only do I sleep with a cuddley toy, I hug them in the evenings and I still talk to them. Is it normal?
I stil sleep with my purple raccoon. I'm 37. Who cares what people think.
I think it is perfectly fine. But if you are becoming less confident because of it maybe you can purchase yourself a soft throw pillow and try sleeping with that.
its fine, its legal and its not going to hurt anyone, people should accept that.
If you are a side sleeper and hold it by your chest it's actually good for you. Other than that I think it's fine. I have a Teddy I've used sence I was young. I've had a few guy in my bed over the years and they're fine with it. But I don't think it's the norm, we're just odd balls.
Is it typical? No.
Is it absolutely charming? Yes.
As above person said, whatever gives you comfort in this scary world...
If it brings you comfort then go for it, and don't worry what others think! I'm in my 30's and still have my favorite 'blankies'!
