0.05 + 1.05 = 1.10
the bat is not one dollar , its a dollar more the real math is as follows 110= x + y let y= x +100 it follows 110 = 2x +100 then 10=2x then 5=x the ball is a nickel
By simple logic the ball costs ten cents. The two are a $1.10. If the ball is ten cents and the bat is a dollar more then it's only logical the bat costs a dollar and the ball is ten cents.
i didnt invent algebra . its not my fault that the bat is 105 cents and the ball is 5 cents . in your world the bat is a dollar more than nothing . in my world the bat is a dollar more than the ball. its a subtle difference that is tangle. i used algebra daily mixing solutions as a Medical Microbiologist . lives depended in my math being correct every time. Now im retired and no one will be doing what i used to do, chances are when I and you are sick the doctor will do what he was told to do. make the best guess he can. millions will die but thats what the country wants.
