I'm a hygiene freak, I feel I must be clean everyday which is normal for everyone (id hope). But sometimes when I go to the bathroom (#2) or am on my period, i shower a lot to take the dirty feeling away. Thus resulting in excessive showering, is this normal? I put lots of lotion on so my skin isnt ever dry unless i dont lotion or something.
If the 4 times is infrequent and 4 times is rare, you are no hygiene pervert. I can't start the day w/o that first shower because it wakes me better than the coffee. In the summer when it's hot, 2 is common and three sometimes happens if I'm active. I can't recall any 4 shower days but you're a girl... probably an attractive one at that.
Well, that's a very broad range--1 to 4 times. It's definitely normal to shower once a day. Constantly doing it 4 times a day, I don't know about that.
I used to shower once or twice a day but I stopped using soap and shampoo and after a filthy period during my body regulated to no soap or shampoo. Now I shower using only water every 10ish day and I´ve never been as clean as in today. I´ve got a lot of comments that my hair looks great, that I smells great but whenever I mention I haven´t been showering for 10 days no one believes me. People even asks me which "super" shampoo I´m using. My groin have stopped smelling completely and my skin looks alittle better.
That's too excessive. You will dry out your skin and run up your water bill.
If your only doing this sometimes, like its good to shower 1time every day but if you shower 3times every day all year that's not good because I think there is such thing as too clean. You can shower heaps o your period, but you should probs stick to 1 a day on normal period free day
I shower 2 times when I'm on my period because I feel dirty, but i'd say 4 is tooo much! How do you even have time?
It's normal in my eyes. It usually happens when I need time to think about something.
