Is it normal i saw a man commit a crime and didn't do anything?

the other week at the local lake, i saw an old man grab a mallard (it had a green head, so it was male) and put it in the trunk of his car before going hiking. I ate lunch there (it's soothing to eat there, so peaceful), so i got to see it all. About 20 minutes later, the old man came back, looked in his trunk, then drove home (with the mallard).

Coincidently, i saw the old man pick up another mallard last monday, He put it in the trunk of his car and then started scouting around the area, He grabbed another mallard and carefully put it in the trunk, working hard to keep the other mallard (surprisingly still alive) from escaping.

Today, i saw his mugshot in the newspaper.
He had been arrested for the abuse and slaughter of 11 mallards.
I could've reported this, but i didn't! I feel so guilty!

That's terrible however those ducks could have been responsible for gang raping a friend or family member of the abducktor. Fowl play either way.

It was drug-related, part of a quack dealing ring.

Seriously? I wouldn't of thought it would be that easy to catch a Mallard.

If it's any consolation I hope the ducknapper gets buggered in jail!

I wouldn't have reported him either. Should you? Yeah. But I understand. It's not like he was driving off with a kid.

Is it possible that the man was just trying to get some food? You know McNuggets don't grow on trees either.

You're a fucking scumbag. People like you are why criminals like that shithead get away with mallard based criminalities. Ducks can't help themselves, so you have to.

So what's stopping you from coming forward now and helping the case against the ducknapper?

  • Seems normal to me. I would have just guessed he was hunting them in a strange way. What I'm wondering is if he was eating them or just capturing them. It would be a very strange crime if he wasn't doing this for food
