Is it normal i randomly torture slugs sometimes

i keep slugs as pets. Some i will care for and feed, others i will just relentlessly attack at random with any weapon i can be bothered to use. I also did this to an earthworm. However, if i see a video of someone harming a cat, i want that person to die painfully. I love cats. But i also love some of my slugs. What is with this slug favoritism? if one doesn't eat what i give it i slaughter it for being ungrateful.

    i agree that is why i feed and care for some of them until they die of old age. But not all. This site isn't helpful, it's mostly just people with fart fetishes and people threatening my genitals. I only want an explanation for my behavior.
