Is it normal i prefer pads over tampons?

I have an unnatural amouunt of blood and neither tampons or pads cant hold it all. I buy the super heavy overnight pads and those only last me about 15 minutes(on a good day). I dont care if i feel dirty down there, its not like anyone sees it during that time..

I prefer pads. Tampons generally hurt me and I'm paranoid they'll pull my iud out lol.

If I ever decided to get into a relation with a fellow lady it would be a deal breaker if she wore pads.

Any lesbians out there to give some perspective?

I think tampons are a lot cleaner and take a lot less maintenance. My mom likes pads better and I have always wondered why. I used pads most of my teen life because of her but for years I have used tampons and it feels a lot better to me. I also think you can't feel tampons like you do with pads.
I also think your personal preference depends on how much blood you have.

Am I the only one who doesn't wear overnight pads with full coverage? I prefer pads to tampons but that's because it feels like a super thin panty liner. I feel bad for the chick with the extra heavy flow, that's gotta be a lot of trips to the bathroom.

I hate wearing pads because they feel like freaking pampers, especially the bigger overnight ones. Personally, I prefer wearing tampons, but I know that the majority would rather use pads.

Im the complete opposite, I cant stand pads...because I can feel them & it makes me feel unclean to have a mess down there.

i dont like pads because you need to wear undies with them and they make my area hot and sweaty in the summer, plus blood get every where.
