Is it normal i only feel depression/anxiety when at home?

I've gotten anxiety, depression, and insomnia (they sort of all stem from eachother). is it normal that these only significantly bother me when I am home (and when im home I am usually alone)? I have slight moments with friends, but never ever as severe.

Same here. It's partly because I'm around my family (love em, but being around each other all of the time can grate.)
At uni I'm mostly fine. I think it's also partly because I associate home with feelings of depression and anxiety due to experience throughout life.

You might be feeling it most at home, because it's the place where you feel most comfortable, and you're alone, and a lot of times when you're alone, thats when the thoughts start playing. Whereas, when you're with your friend's you're mind is kind of taken off those things that bother you.

Even if it's not that severe, don't hesitate to talk to someone about it.

When you're at home, you have all that time to just sit and think. It's normal for those feelings to crash down on you at your most vulnerable. Are you seeing someone or taking meds for this? You should be!
