That's a good skill to have. My uncle was a colorblind electrician...he looked like a white Don King. Hehe.

I personally hate doorbells especially when you have inpatient Bastards that ring it 50x

You can fucking knock, old school

Leave it unfixed, you're doing yourself a favor

No wonder I never got my Avon order. I waited for years.

    I think a lot of people's doorbells don't work.

Normal if you're a procrastinator: that's not a criticism because I'm one too although I've improved now I realise my time is running out. There's an enormous satisfaction in finally doing something you've been putting off for ages: try it and you'll know what I mean

Maybe you subconsciously want people to not come around knocking at your door.

Ha ha but if the doorbell's broken they will have to knock, won't they?

True that! I recently locked my courtyard gate so unexpected guests can't even get to the door.

At my place the dog lets me know if anyone approaches my place or the place next door or walks up the road or lots and lots of the things she thinks are important to bark at

I miss having a dog! I used to have a Shetland sheepdog, but I lost her in the first divorce, I should have taken her, because she was so bonded to me. My ex even told me she was very sad when I left. Honestly, I wish I could've taken all the animals.
