Is it normal i needed the nipple?

When I was little, up until I was maybe 8, 9, or 10, I needed my mom to lay down with me until I could go to sleep. I also needed to hold onto her nipple. She said it was because I breast fed for so long, but I still think that was weird. Is that normal..?

    That isn't what I would refer to as being normal, depending on what your mum looks like I would have loved to have slept over at your house

    some babies stay babies for a really long time. maybe you were breastfed too long. maybe normal, but certainly not average.
