My friend is angry at me since they say I don't dress or behave correctly based on gender roles. I tend to sometimes be masculine and sometimes very feminine and my appearance is very neutral where it's sometimes hard to tell my gender. So they said I needed learn express my proper gender traits more in my dress. Even though I really don't care and while my dress sometimes is eccentric I like how I dress. I been known to dress in army/Cop type uniform on a simple whime.

    There's nothing wrong with gender nonconformity if it's for yourself and what you want to do. Be yourself, wear what you want, and let your real friends show.

    From my perspective as a gay person, I do take issue with gender nonconforming people who are otherwise straight, not trans and not LGBT in any way speaking on my behalf and making up stupidly nuanced "gender identities". That's another issue though, in itself there's nothing wrong with being gender non-conforming if it's natural and not forced for attention.

    You should stop being their friend. It’s your life and if they don’t like what you do or how you dress then that’s their problem, not yours.
