Is it normal i made bomb jokes about terrorism when i was a kid?

I thought about asking this question after reading the recent question about not feeling sympathy after 911 and I have a similar topic.
I remember in 5th grade when the Oklahoma city bombing happened the school I was going to created a sympathy mural to send to the students at the school that was bombed. I vandalized the mural by drawing a giant bomb exploding and writing "BOMB" across it. I remember it was a big deal to the teachers that I did something like this and I remember not quite understanding why. That same year I had also planned to shoot up the school but I couldn't find any ammo for the gun so I never did it. This seems like normal kid behavior to me but I suspect it's not.

    I would always joke about profiling my friend from Iran all the time. Now that I think about it, that was really racist and insensitive, but he thought it was funny as well. **Blows watery clear load**

    I'll pretend for a now, that you wrote this in all seriousness.
    How could you actually think this was normal kid behaviour? If every normal kid planned to shoot up his school it would happen every other day, don't you think?
    The part about the bomb doesen't seem to weird. Kids often don't have much empathy for people they don't know and also no real conception of death.

    What matters is who you are today.

      I would imagine lots of kids plan this stuff out of spite but don't go through with it in the end.
      I ended up getting over it and just putting the gun back but I did plan it as far enough as to take the gun from the chest box. My dad has probably 50 guns so he wouldn't know if I even took a few.

        50 guns? Holy sh*t, America is scary.
        I guess I can't tell you whats normal for kids in such environments, it's just a completly different culture then what I'm used to.
        Please, just promise me should you have kids don't let them get near a real gun. That's probably the best thing you can get out of this experience.

          I have no kids but if I did I wouldn't keep weapons laying around.

    Making insensitive jokes as a child or even as an adult is normal.
    Wanting to shoot up your school is not. See a therapist.

        Hoe can you have stole a gun from your dad when you were a kid. That's not normal. Those thing have to be hidden at a place kids can't reach.

          That's the bad truth about kids getting access to weapons. Most families are careless with them and I have had easy access to weapons my whole life.

            Weapons should be illegal. You can't buy or use a weapon here in holland except if you are a cop, hunter, soldier and that kind WITH a license to shoot and own a gun. That way everybody will be save.
