  • Oh cool. You are hitting it off with him on this fake account? He liked this person?

    That's a shame.

Because if you want to take it further, you have to tell him that you are actually a manipulative, deceitful, creeper, which will make him freaked out.

You kind of shot yourself in the foot here.

I respect/admire how blunt that all was, cause I think it's something the OP really needed to hear.

I don't understand how anyone could fall for this. If someone I didn't know tried to start a conversation with me on Facebook with a profile that had very few pictures, posts, friends, etc, I would immediately know something was up.

That was an awful thing to do to him. Delete the Facebook account and forget about him. He'll want nothing to do with you if he finds out you're lying.

Kinda creepy, manipulative and cowardly in my humble opinion.

It doesn't matter where your coming from when you're trying to manipulate the situation. You're lying to him by using a fake name on Facebook, it's a lie. People don't generally like liars! If this blows up in your face you'll only have yourself to blame and most likely no one will feel sorry for you; shy or not.

You're very welcome. Just be yourself and do your best. If someone's not into you then that's their loss but at least you'll know you tried and were true to yourself while trying.

If you think you can tell him without him freaking out on you, try it. Gently.

I think you have three options:

    1) Tell him the truth and explain to him why you did this. Hopefully, he will be understanding and not just write you off as a creeper, but, of course, he very well may just do that.

    2) Delete the account and make your alternate personality completely disappear from his life. You'd have to be careful to never slip up if you decide to talk to him as your "real" self.

    3) Continue on what your doing, but you'll probably never get the chance to speak to him as the "real" you and this may all just end up blowing up in your face.

That is kinda creepy and very cowardly. If I was that person and found out about this, I'd be insanely pissed! (Deception)

This reminds me of that fake girlfriend scandal that football player had.

It's creepy and your manipulating his feelings. Either 1. Tell him the truth, 2. Delete that account or 3. Make up something. But if you make up something the lies would only be continuing and he would be getting more emotionally attached.

be yourself and don't tell him. If it works out tell him in about 3 years and he'll think it was hilarious

Or tell him the truth and see what happens. It may be the only way for you to talk to him as yourself. Do it as soon as possible though! Let him decide whether to continue or not. Having said that, there is the chance that he will tell others what you have done and you may be made to feel silly. Only you can judge how he'll react though. Be careful and good luck :)

Well its kinda stupid to do that because he'll never talk to you face to face, so really what's the point?
