Is it normal i'm uncomfortable with sex talk?

I'm a young adult and I've had sex before but for some reason I can't stomach my friends or anyone talking about their sexual experiences to me. Especially if they get detailed.... and boy do they get detailed. The general sense is that i should be alright with this sort of talk and even contribute sometimes, but i just can't. Am I just immature and haven't been around that much or is this a normal feeling?

    I don't understand people's need to discuss their sex life with anyone other than their partner. It just seems disrespectful and crude.

    I think sex is a private affair and I don't discuss my sex life with anyone except my current sex partner.

    I think it's absolutely disgusting when people talk about their sex lives in detail. Back on Mars, we were much more polite!

    It would be sad to be you. I love to listen to others people's lurid moist experiences. Living vicariously thru lucid descriptive language is one of life's creepy joys. Erotica is fun. Take your clothes off and read it out loud to your partner over the phone.

    For the most part I don't see a problem. I have had to sit through conversations with friends about their Caesarian births, bowel cancer tests, gynaecological problems the least they can do is listen to my 'guy with the amazing tongue trick' story. Sex, health, money all seem to be such sensitive topics depending on your audience. Impo men seem to be less inclined to detail than women I know.

    Dude that's completely normal, I hate how people think they can just discuss sex in public or think that everyone wants to do the same, I hate talking about it or hate when ppl do to me, but boy do I think about it a lot and enjoy thinking etc etc, I just don't see the need and I don't get off by talking about I did this, I did that, blah blah, like some ppl above said its damn disrespectful to ask ppl about this, it
