Is it normal i'm irritated by my best friend's crush?

So I think there's something going on between my best friend and this guy who's always been friendly, but after I found out about the possible relationship, i realised he was only friendly because she was around?

I'm always with my best friend, so I've been on the receiving end of his "nice-ness" a lot, but lately I feel he only comes over to talk when she's around and it irritates me that he only makes an effort to be nice to her because he likes her -.- Am I jealous?

Unless he's been actively mean to you when she's not around, I wouldn't say his behaviour is out of the ordinary. He has his eye on your friend, so it's natural for him to want to spend time with her.

He's behaving normally. Of course he is nice to you to impress her.

Don't be offended by the guy's actions. He is interested in your friend and doesn't want to accidentally make you think that he is into you instead of her, but still wants to be able to see her.

    It's called jealousy. SUPER normal.

    Its normal but it sucks.

There is always a fear that when your best friend gets involved in a relationship there will be less time for you....... so I would say that your preparing yourself for what emotions are going to come - try not to do that (externally if you will) try to deal with those jelous feelings within yourself as this feeling will happen a LOT in life. Support your friend and always be there for them, but dont express your negitive feelings to either of them - typically, that only ends up badly.

If you notice that your friend has less time for you, I would try to make other friends - seems hard, but you need to place yourself in a positive environment rather then feel sorry for your situation.
