Is it normal i'm "developing" late?

I'm 21 and I'm just starting to become hormonal. The slightest things turn me on. I realize that this is how people feel in high school - I never had a sex drive in high school. Where I used to be attracted to slight-statured men, I'm now mainly attracted to guys with a really nice build (like kick-boxer/boxer builds), tall and square-jawed.

I'm still a virgin and I love being single because there are no attachments. I get to go out on dates and kiss guys without any holds barred (I've never had sex, but I make out). However, that's not really doing anything, anymore. I want the physical stimuli. I'm wondering if it's because I'm peaking and I'm most fertile, right now. And the reason my taste in men has changed is because I'm looking at the qualities that will be best for a child - I don't want kids until I'm married and MUCH older.

    It's very normal.

When in High School I dated a girl who was 18, she was prude as hell. After High School she opened up and we had sex, but she was not a "sexual creature" so to say. Now she is 32 and she is the kinkiest Woman I know, and thinks of sex very often.

You are young, and you are still discovering what you like, what turns you on, etc. Plus you are still at that stage where you are not confident with your own naked body, over time that will pass.

Give yourself time, and move at your own pace.

  • its okay if youre just starting to develop. i know at least 30 other girls also in their 20's and they are just starting to develop as well. don't worry, this is perfectly normal for some girls. this means that you're special and different from everyone else. but it is perfectly normal.

I was a late starter because of an operation on my head, I didn't start until I was 16 after my lady doctor gave me a full medical with my mum and sister in the room she was going to give me either hormone shots or tablets, I remember standing there naked I was so embaressed because I had a boner at the time.

Gymnists and ballerinas go through puberty at about 17-20 something or sometimes never due to, well what they do. in a sense it deforms the body a bit.

Pumpedupkicks, you have a awesome name.
Girl that I don't know, do whatever. Maybe someone with a bit of intellect or money might serve you as well. Don't pick the handsome musician begging on the corner over the good guy that you will be able to enjoy life with. Personalities transfer just as readily from parent to child.

I have intellect, which is why I'm stuck analyzing myself. Obviously I know it's abnormal (or just hormone-related) or I wouldn't have asked. Mentally, I still want the sweet, dorky guy.
