is it normal, that I absolutely love house music and other edm type music and never went clubbing before? I'm wondering if I'm just strange, cause I'm black and when I tell people I rather buy a daft punk album than ready to die ( I'm old school hip hop fan) they think I'm gay ( love women) trying to be white ( house is made by black people lol) or some other bull ..I' just turn 18 btw but the real question can u be a lover of house if u never experience it on the dancefloor? same way u never experience trance without e or opiates lol?

    I love some forms of house music too and like you, I've never gone clubbing. Have you ever heard of the French Musician, St.Germain? He mixes Jazz with house music. I love his work!!! :D

    I think you need to experience it live at some point. But dont go to an "EDM" event, you'll find bunch of kids rolling and shuffling around. Go find some real house/techno artists, and listen to their sets. You'll find another world!

    All I listen to is house music and I've never even come within viewing distance of a club.

    Here in England most of my black friends do not show that much interest in rap or hip-hop. We have been to a few raves together as well. I'm a big fan of most music, I enjoy gigs and some heavy metal bars and then at the same time I like going to clubs. I've taken e before and raved liked a mad head all night, I haven't done that for a couple of year now though.

    I love all kinds of music. EDM is one of my favorites. I never went clubbing either. And people need to fuck off about your race. I know a lot of black EDM fans.

    Well yeah... I've been a fan of EDM since 2010ish. But since then it exploded and now that's the only stuff on my iPod. I've also never done (and never plan to do) E or any other drugs like that. I'm just in it for the love of the music.
