Is it normal i like what most people consider ugly guys?

I really don't like the men most girls drool over. I don't like the perfect six pack, super white straight teeth, douche haircuts, tan skin, or just the whole 'hot guy thing'... I like the guys that most girls would puke over, to give examples I like Thom Yorke. I don't know what it is about the supposedly ugly guys that attracts me to them.
I'm not ugly, but I'm not stunning either... I'm what guys would rate a seven.

    Yay, another Thom Yorke lover:D!!

    And I am exactly the same, literally. In fact, my friends seem to find a lot of amusement in the fact that one of biggest crushes is Lenin. Short and bald don't usually qualify as attractive, yet I absolutely love him! He has to be one of the most attractive people I have ever seen.

    But hey, less competition, right? Seriously though, back off Thom, he's mine:P!

          The Bends was great(was gonna use that album but couldn't think of anything)... so was Pablo Honey! I wonder everyday why Pablo Honey's considered rubbish:( Kid A is my favorite though:) My favorite song is either Fade Out or True Love Waits.

            Street Spirit(Fade Out) is probably my favourite song from them, along with Bulletproof...I wish I was and Separator. And then there's like a tonne of runner ups.

            As for Pablo Honey, I don't think it's rubbish, but it's definitely their worst album. Everything that came after Pablo Honey was just another level completely. Pablo Honey was still great though:)

              Yeah me too, there new stuff sounds like it has too much artificial noise. It's not bad but their Kid A and Amnesiac days were better.

    Yes that is normal.

    I've only had one crush in my past that was hot and masculine but he was a rather nice guy. All my other crushes weren't masculine but I found rather cute because they were rather nice and funny. :) But I also thought they were attractive of course.

    Yeah, that seems to be my problem as well. I will see a guy who seems cute and intelligent and very good looking but most of my friends will see him as unattractive, possibly because the guys I like don't fit the typical stereotype of overly testosteroned masculine dudes. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, of course, and ultimately, the men that I found were usually more loyal, faithful and caring than the "sexy" losers that my friends got a hold of.

    Yeah, I'm a guy and I tend to not be very interested in the typical "supermodel" girls that everyone seems to go crazy about. I like more "cute" girls who may be short, have freckles, have some more curves than the the typical superlow bodyfat model... I've found that the people become more openminded about attractiveness when they get a little older, past the teens.

    beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. For me, unattractive guys become more appealing to me once I get to know and like their personality.

    I feel the same way. Except for this one guy I was close with that I liked back in HS. For some reason, I thought I was the only one who liked him, but I was so wrong. I didn't realize that he had a flock of girls from each grade gawking at him, until the day I noticed he was slipping away from me.

    But most of the time, I like guys that aren't ugly, but usually aren't the stereotypical 'hot guy' that girls would be chasing down at street corners. However, to me... in my eyes they'd be perfect. And despite that people would probably disagree on someones looks with me, I'd like that person anyway, because if you're attracted to the person, and you like them, who they are as an individual, you want something with them... the opinions of others shouldn't matter. And especially on looks, because all people have different tastes anyway. Its normal.
