I know that they are trash and all, but I really like them. Is it normal, and how many people can relate?
They are totally and completely stupid. But damn can they be entertaining. Lol.
I'm totally guilty of watching the Maury fiasco of 'you are NOT the father' and 'You ARE the father'. My sister and I crack up when the moms do some crazy dance when the dude turns out to be the dad. I also watch history channel religiously so perhaps that evens things out, I don't know you guys tell me! :)
Yes, I like Jerry Springer, Maury Povich, and Steve Wilkos. The guests are trashy, but the shows are interesting to watch.
We all have a guilty pleasure. The natural instinct is to hide it and pretend it doesn't exist. The healthy instinct is to admit to it and try and work out the truth about ourselves. None of us are perfect and the truth probably isn't that bad. We don't seem to like to publicise the dark side, though. Even though it's probably not that dark. Just a fear of being judged.
As long as you know it's trash and you're watching it because sometimes it's fun to watch trash, then yeah it's normal :) I like Judge Judy which is also trash but with a legal slant to it.
LOL i used to LOVE being sick and stay home from school to watch all those shows. Those were the good days. I couldn't exactly relate to them but hell they were entertaining!
