Is it normal i like him slightly less cuz hes indian?

I met this guy in a bar, good looking, fun, smart enough. We started hanging out, and I found out that rather than being half latino, as I assumed, he's a quarter indian. His family aren't ethnic or religious so it's not even a cultural difference. But it slightly put me off. I've never been attracted to indian boys, I'm not racist and I have male indian friends, I'm just not attracted to them. I've dated and had long term relationships with black and chinese guys, but not indian. I didn't see anything wrong with that and I still don't. But the fact I was attracted to him and am now slightly less so upon learning his ethnicity worries me. I wouldn't rule him out because of this, not by a long way but it unsettles me that this is an issue for me at all (albeit a small one). Does this make me racist?

    I'm actually quarter Indian, although you wouldn't guess from my appearance. I think your turn off is based on a stereotype of Indian people, which I can assure you is not true. My grandma is Indian and married to my grandad who is white, and she moved to the UK when she was a baby so she's practically English. I think you should forget about that stereotype and focus on him as an individual. They don't all smelly of curry haha

    Indian-Indian or native American? I find Native American guys hot. Anyway youre not a bad person or anything, everyone is super pc these days they forget there is such a thing as personal preferences.

    Maybe it's that you're generally not attracted to Indian males and being told he's part-Indian has brought about a bit of a knee-jerk reaction because it's challenged what you thought you liked.

    You're obviously rational enough to know he's not suddenly less physically attractive and that this shouldn't be an issue for you. Perhaps it's going to take a bit of a period of adjustment, but you shouldn't let it stand in your way.
