Is it normal i like having long finger nails?

I'm a guy and like having long nails (my own nails lol)
They're not by any means extremely long, but definitely noticeable, I would say about an 1/8" long (past from where the nail is not hooked to the skin, if this makes sense?)
I do keep them clean and filed nice and round.
GIRLS is this a turn off, disgusted by it?

    Honestly, I find longer fingernails on men sort of repulsive, even if they are clean. The only way I wouldn't find it totally yucky was if it were for playing the guitar.

        Do you think it could be because we were raised on stories where the only men who had long fingernails are the villains of the story? Or is it simply a sign of poor hygiene?

        I don't even know why it disgusts me so much. *sigh* :L

          Probably both, I certainly don't want to hold hands with a guy who has long fingernails or let him touch my body. It's gross and creepy. Yuck!

          It's also kinda effeminate.

          I don't like long nails in general.

    I'm a guy and I sometimes grow out my fingernails too (not because I want long fingernails but because usually I'm lazy and don't want to cut them). It has happened before that a guy saw my nails and asked me if I was gay. Anyway I don't think long fingernails should be exclusive to women, as men can also get long nails if they forget to cut them. This might seem weird but long fingernails do come in handy especially when you're opening a package or picking your nose.

    My ex bf had long nails and while I never really minded it, it seemed like every friend of mine that I introduced to him mentioned his nails before anything else, lol. Generally speaking, it's a turn off. Personally, I don't care. It can hurt though- cough* if you know what I mean.

    I (as a guy) actually prefer longer fingernails (not extremely long).
