Is it normal i keep finding lesbians attractive before they come out?

First off, I'm male. Call me nuts but, I keep finding some women that're hot that later come out of the closet. There was a girl at my school that I thought she was just shy around guys, like I was around girls. I was thinking about possibly asking her out but later I found out she's a lesbian. I thought, 'Okay, unfortunate for me, oh well'. Then I've found more and more women attractive before I discovered they were out of the closet. I'm not saying I'm against lesbians or the LGBT crowd, but I have an attraction to women before they come out. Am I crazy?

    I've met plenty of attractive lesbians.

    Have you ever considered the fact that these women are just using being gay as an excuse to not date you?

    Alot of women hit on men and find out they're gay. I suppose it can go both ways. Maybe there's just something about their manner that you like that is common to being a lesbian?? Not sure what that would be, but I know women see a well kempt male, he's nice, smells good, doens't want to jump in bed at first sight.. etc. She will be interested. Commonly, those characteristics can be seen in gay men. Hence the confusion
