Is it normal i keep dreaming about this cat?

I've had two dreams in the past week about a black cat. The cat exists but I don't know her; she belongs to a bloke I know (he's in my new favorite band and also a virtual friend, but how I know him isn't relevant here). I saw pictures of her playing with a bra which was funny and cute. In the first dream, she was still a cat and had human-like traits, like she could talk and stuff. And a human boy (this guy's bandmate) was in love with her. And in my dream last night, she was doing tricks. I'm hoping these dreams aren't bad luck, since the cat is black (I don't really believe in superstition though). So is it normal to dream about a cat I haven't met? What could this mean?
