I mean, I REALLY REALLY LOVE them. I love them so much If it was up to me I'd spend most of time around children. They put me in such a good mood for some reason I yet haven't been able to discover. Just sitting there and watching them play around gives me such a mood boost. I could just sit there all day long never taking my eyes off them.
Is it normal?
The op never said a word about seeing children in a sexual light at all...what I think is creepy is the fact that so many people implied that.
Hope you're not a male, if males do this, they get the funny look, if females do it "they're just being motherly"...
Totally normal, regardless of which gender you are. I have 3 little cousins, they're so funny and cute. :)
As long as you're not being sexually suggestive towards them, it's normal. The youth of age and innocence makes you want to go back in time and join them. Children are for the most part happy, young and little, and naive. To see them playing, like you once did, could bring back good memories that you don't even register and make you happy. Keep enjoying children while you can, sometimes they'll grow up!
Kids put people in good moods, often just because of their cheer and optimism. As long as you don't want to bang them, it's fine.
I'm absolutely floored by the remarks so far. Are people really projecting the image of a creepy person into the op's perspective? There's nothing in this world as cheerful as the sound of children's laughter, they're a joy to be around..& it's normal.
Umm. that's kinda creepy what if someone came up to you and stared at you for an hour... smiling... unblinking... you dont think that would be scary to you, to a little kid...
I think it's normal for both male and female to enjoy being around children! kids are funny sometimes and make you wish you were a kid again.
Unfortunately this isent a common thing :( but it should be! I applaud you!
They are fun to watch if you dont have actual responsibility towards them..if you do the little brats will beat you down dude!!!
I taught for a couple of years and most of my free time I spent with kindergarten and playgroup kids. They are so goddamn cute, and it's so interesting to see how the perceive things. It also helps when the Kindergarten/Playgroup teachers are cute :0)

It's definitely normal (perhaps not common in my area) to love children in this way. I know some sick-minded folks are going to try to pin pedophilia on you, but it's not like that at all. It's Normal!
