I'm 17 years old and I haven't dated a girl in almost 3 years. I spend a lot of time with female friends and I'm incredibly close with a few, but I haven't actually dated in a while. I don't think I'm unattractive, and all my friends seem to be dating people. And if they break up they find someone new in a few weeks.
I haven't dated in years either and I'm a good bit older than you. It's a not big deal at all. Keep socializing though, not socializing can be detrimental.
Some people get their sense of self worth from being in a relationship. They go from one relationship to the next and have that constant need. Others do not. Some people are like that with marriages.
When I was 17 I had no experience with girls. I got my first girlfriend @ 20 which lasted a few months and have only had one other girlfriend sense then. As of now I don't even care to get another one.
I'm the same age as you and I've never dated at all.
But then again, it's probably because I'm asexual.
Friend with benefits would be a good thing for you. Fuck her once every 3 to 4 weeks, then go back to being friends.
