Is it normal i haven't cried in four years?

I'm a man who hasn't actually cried in around 4 years. I read that the average was about 6-14 times per year for men. My eyes water sometimes when I'm in pain or I have something in my eyes, but I never burst into tears due to misery or depression. I know it's weak for a man to cry, so obviously I would do it in private, but I just haven't felt like it. Is this normal?

    I've never know a man that cried 6 to 14 times a year. I think you're fine.

...But maybe the man would have been private about his tears? Women and men are both very private about things such as crying.

I thought about that after I posted. I had one ex that did cry when we got in fights. But even then it was like 2 or 3 times a year. And I like to think that I've been close enough to these men to know whether they cry or not. It should be noted I'm talking about men I've known on a personal basis. Probably doesn't accurately reflect the entire population. So in my opinion it's not abnormal to not cry for a few years

I haven't cried in 9 years. A man who cries when upset is a man of weakness and cowardice.

I think it's quite the opposite.

A man, who cries, has nothing to prove.

A man who cries, especially in front of his wife, is a man who's not insecure about his masculinity.
