Is it normal i have wetness on armpits

It's different from other peoples excessive wetness. Mine started around 3 weeks ago(I've just turned 20). All my life I used "Sure" the roll on deodorant, I then realized it was creating white stains on my clothing which i didn't before hand...so I changed and bought Loreal and that was good for a few days but then it started creating a wet feeling on my armpits, long story cut short, I tried using all sorts, from nivea to mitchum and even lemon(2 days),vinegar(1 day) and nothing gets the wetness away(I can feel it within minutes of being outside, sometimes inside aswell). Is It Normal?

  • I also experienced problems with Sure products staining my clothes. I now use Rexona which works fine.

Make sure you are using an anti-perspirant and not just a deodorant.

I had the same problem as you, but I tried Speed Stick Pro-Clean and it did the trick. You should try it!

How long did you have it for and do you know how it happened?
And do they sell it in the UK? Thanks

  • Do you have an anxiety disorder? Try using a deoderant ---not an anti-perspirant.

No I don't. I think using all sorts of deodorants/anti-perspirants(5 in total) mitchum, nivea, sure, loreal and dove...i used this all in a space of 1 week and a bit trying to stop the wetness, i then didn't put anything for a week and now i'm trying to put lemon on.

Have you tried an anti perspirant?, it stops you from sweating and lasts much longer than a deodorant but you need to wash daily when using one (i'm sure you do anyway) because it clogs the pores. I use an anti persirant by gillette, work quite hard all day in a hot environment, never have problems with sweating, smell or white patches on my black work tops.
Being overweight can cause us to sweat more than normal too. If it's really bad and causing you distress doctors can offer treatments for excessive sweating.

Yeah, I have tried using anti-perspirant quite a few times, in fact thats the only type I use...I haven't been out today and I Put lemon a few hours back, its ok but It's just inside i guess. I'm going to see my G.P on Thursday to see what can be done. Yes I do wash everyday and I'm as skinny as can be, that's what's worrying me as this is the 1st time this has happened, it must be the usage of different anti-perspirants in a short preiod of time as I feel when spray or roll on its gets worse not better...

Glad to hear your going to see your G.P Dude, make sure he/she knows how you feel about it and don't just get fobbed off. I hope it goes well for you and you get some results.
