Is it normal i have trouble with male/female parts and nipples?

I am uncomfortable when it comes to male and female parts and nipples.

The female part is the one that receives the male part. It makes sense but I still don't like it. It's hard for me to utter the words when I am talking about stuff like this. "Hey Jimmy, go get me a female coupling" or "Hey Mike, I need a male wire terminal". It makes it sound like the male parts are always hard and horny and the female parts are major sluts.

And nipples, I'm only comfortable calling the nipple of a baby bottle a 'nipple', not pipe fittings.

I don't know what the hell else we'd call those parts though, so I guess I have no solution and have to deal with it.

      *shrug* I'm use to that.

      What annoys the fuck out of me though is when other techs can't figure this out. The pins are the "males" and the holes are the "females". *sigh*
