Is it normal i have so many is it normal posts i don’t post?

When I want to ask a question on this site, I always first write out the text in Word. But most of the posts I write (almost all actually), I don’t post. I even start writing questions already knowing I won’t post them. Writing about it makes me think and analyse my life, I help myself. The things I’m not so worried about are small things from which I don’t care what people think and from which I don’t want or need advice. The things I am genuinely worried about and would like to get advice on, I know aren’t normal at all. And so, I don’t expect valuable advice but only disapproval.

The reason I do post questions is because I’m bored. The questions I ask will stay rather superficial, like this one (although this is the most personal I ever got, haha).

Excuse any grammatical errors.

Well, you've just explained why you don't post often, so it's not like it's random or like there's no reason to it. Sounds normal enough to me.

There have been things I've thought about posting but never got around to posting, since I didn't really need advice and therefore didn't have much motivation (I'm the same as you in that I only really feel motivated enough to post when bored). Only other motivation is when the quality of posts are really low and I feel a need to contribute something other users might find interesting. This is normal for me.

    • Yes, I always seem to explain it to myself. I honestly also don't see what would be so abnormal about my question, but yes, boredom. My purpose was more to see if others did this too and why.

"Only other motivation is when the quality of posts are really low and I feel a need to contribute something other users might find interesting." That's actually a very nice reason.

I no longer post as a form of mod boycott because they rejected perfectly fine stories and approved totally daft ones or the umpteenth 'I'm not gay but I look at my guy friend's butt post.'

I used to do that with facebook status's. My mind would think of so many things per day I wanted to share I had to spread them out over days so that peoples newsfeeds werent just filled with all my shit. Then I quit facebook and started using websites better designed for that kind of thing.

Yeah apparently it is. I asked a legitimate question and it wasn't approved.

Meanwhile people are asking ridiculous things like "Is it normal I like a TV show?" ranging to "Is it normal I like to get beaten with a baseball bat on my testicles while another woman runs over my legs with a truck?" and MY post doesn't go through.

This place I tell ya! Fuckin' retarded sometimes.

Edit: I misread the title. Yeah it seems normal. You just probably realized those posts weren't interesting, and therefore didn't post them.

Writing down stuff has always been a way of figuring stuff out, nothing new or strange here.

I've posted a few "superficial" questions before, too, just to try and make some fun for myself and everyone. Writing stuff out can help you perceive it more clearly and work out your own problems, so you don't need IIN for them. Even if that happens, you can still post the story anyway because it might help someone else. So it's normal for me, too.
