I knew a girl years ago who kept saying it was sliding out. I was like huh? Turns out she left the applicator in there too. But, ya, try a smaller one or something.

Read the instructions obviously, but the most important thing that I cannot stress enough is RELAX. You have to relax, it is going to hurt worst if you are tense. Also, don't put a tampon in when you're stressed or are feeling pressure to get it in. Do it when your home alone and take your time. Start off with light, small tampons that are "easy glide" and work your way up from there. Also, (this is kind of gross, but it helps) if you put just the tip of your finger in your vagina opening it helps to stretch things out and also know where you're going with the tampon.

Read the instructions on the box.

Also if you're not bleeding much don't try putting one in. It's best to wait until your canal is lubricated with your menstrual blood. Otherwise it may not slide in as easily.

It hurts the first time, especially if you dont use the right kind - use playtex the first time and not regular but LIGHT (they are thinner) --
I tried to use the tampax for my first time and it hurt too - once I found playtex it was a diff storey :)

Read the instructions. Or look it up online. Also it may have hurt because you did not put it in far enough. That happened to me the first time. You should stick it in all the way until the only part sticking out is the part that you push.

As a licensed OB/GYN I fully endorse this method.

Did you read the directions on the box? Also, it might have hurt because it could have been the wrong size. Having one too big could hurt, so maybe try a lighter one.

It is hard, I started trying to use them at 13 and it took nearly a year to get it right. But after that it was super easy. Just keep trying, even rubbing some lubricant on it will help.

Never used one because they can cause infections and get stuck if your period isn't heavy. Try a different brand or size i don't know...

They do not get stuck if you have a light period. You only get infections if you leave it in all day. It takes a retard to get an infection from one. (Unless you are allergic to the material used to make them, of course.)

Try going for the smaller sizes. Really, you follow the instructions on the box. You're not suppose to feel anything. If you feel a little discomfort, you have to take that one out, throw it away, and put in a new one.
