When I was really young I had girlfriends, I'm girl btw, and growing up I went through some things and I have no new girlfriends and do not talk to tge old ones. I feel like an alien around girls my age and am not used to being around them. I feel unaccepted so I don't even try. I also have become extremely picky about people! IIN?

    Something tells me that's the source of your feeling alienated. If I were in your position I would try to reconnect with my old girlfriends and try to reintroduce myself to the social scene.

    Ya I say it's normal. Sounds like social anxiety. Furthermore, it sounds like your old friends accepted you more than (you believe) this group ever will. Here's a trick I learned, act confident and cool. Be the man, or in your case women.
