Is it normal i have an extreme dislike of eggs?

Everything about eggs disgusts me. The texture, the smell, the look of it, everything. I don't just dislike eggs, I have an extreme hatred against it. I have not eaten eggs since I was like 5, I'm 19 now, and the thought of eating eggs just creeps me out.

    Hiya,

    I've heard of somebody who eats a bunch of bananas (yuk!) a day, so your diet isn't that unusual, PalestinianGuy.

    OP: I don't think you need to eat eggs; there are other ways to get protein. Even if someone says the words “egg white” near me I start gagging and nearly throw up, thinking of it in my mouth. I won't even eat fried egg sweets or have an egg with a fry-up. I do love salmon with egg sauce and egg fried rice though.

      yeah, same, but but I've learned to tolerate having others eat it around me, still disgusting though, in all forms.

    Eggs are the most nutritious food I can think of, I eat 30 eggs a week.
    Well organic eggs taste better than non-organic, try them!

        depends what kind of person you are. I'm a bodybuilder and i eat close to 40 eggs a week to get my energie and protein before going to the gym. I eat 6 eggs for breakfeast but i only eat the yolk for 2 of them because i'm paranoid about my cholesterol loll. For an active person eating 3-4 eggs for breakfeast with a cup of oatmeal is normal because they spend so much energie in the gym/ doing exercise

        You don't need to eat eggs, but may I ask what's your main protein source? what about essential fatty acids? my point is, if you're not eating eggs, you need to compensate with something equally nutritious.

          I eat other meat like ground beef, chicken, pork, tuna,salmon, steak and also love beans. anything but eggs.

    You could have a phobia of eggs. I know someone like that. I don't like eggs in general, but I do love boiled eggs. It's normal for you to dislike them though.
