Is it normal: i hate that my s.o. is taller than me?

I'm 5'4" so I'm pretty short and I don't think i'm gonn'a be getting any taller and if I were at most I'd be 5'5" >.< But my s.o. is 5 6 or 5 7 and she likes to wear heels. is it normal that I find it embarassing and upsettings that she's taller than me?

    I'm a little taller than my boyfriend and it's not a big deal at all.

    I think there are all kinds of imprinted beliefs about height and most of us subscribe to them. The problem isn't that you're shorter. The problem is that everyone else thinks it's slightly unnatural. Taken that way, it's not you who has the problem - it's everyone else.

    Personally, I wouldn't care if a woman was taller than me (although I've only ever met one who was). She was 6'3" and being hugged by her was delicious in some kind of role-reversal way. I felt like the woman.
