Is it normal i hate philly accents?

No offense to any philadelphians, but i think it's just the most obnoxious and trashy accent ever. I can't take anything seriously with it and i can only stand listening to it for a short amount of time. it makes me cringe. does anyone else think so too?

    I'm not a huge fan of it either. Like NY also. I live between the two and I'm glad I don't have that accent. Too thick, I suppose, compared to mine, anyway. It is funny when they get mad. I like any accent yelling :)

    It's normal to dislike accents. I actually find Philly accents hilarious and amusing.

    Aw, Philly accents aren't so bad!
    Personally, I honestly can not stand English / British accents anymore, sorry people. My detest for them only started recently. The only English people I can tolerate listening to are Nanny Jo Frost, Simon Cowell, Jeremy Kyle, and Chef Gordon Ramsey :/.

      So do you only like southern English accents then?
      Most of the people who's voices you can tolerate have those accents.

    Dude, I'm with u. Every time I hear it I wanna vomit. Sadly I live here and am starting to pick up the accent myself. I wanna move back to NY so bad so u can rid myself of this damned curse lol

    I have a friend from Philly & I think her accent is cute lol
    I don't have a problem with any accents, but Kate Nash talks like she can't talk right. Like she talks slurred and says things weird. What a tard.
