Try replacing the bad food with healthy food and still eat but eat the good stuff. Also do a bit of exercise slowly at first and this gradual change will stop the depression. It is the bad ingredieants in the unhealthy food that are causing this. They dont properly satisfy your hunger thats where this cycle begins. Only you can end it

2 good movies you should watch are

    Forks Over Knives
    Fat Sick And nearly Dead

If you arre serious about change these movies will help you see the error of your ways

Try excising. Give yourself a compliment everyday. Put the chips away and instead pick up some running shoes.

Do not hate yourself. Why? Because you will lose all that extra fat and become good-looking. Improve your diet and exercise daily. Aim for the long term. Evaluate yourself every year and you will see big gains. The only problem is that you will have to buy smaller size clothes. Which is not a problem at all. Good luck! :)

Slowly begin to exercise. Don't push yourself too hard. You need to gradually increase your exercise though, but you will see progress soon enough. Don't weigh yourself more than once a week. Don't be discouraged if you don't see improvement from one week to the next. The most important thing is to somehow exercise more often. Even if it starts off as just walk around the mall you should be fine. If you decide to hit the treadmill perhaps you could just walk/jog half a mile everyday for a week. The following week go for 3/4 a mile or even the whole mile if you're up to it. Set a further distance every week. The cycle you speak of can be broken. Once you begin to see progress, and again, be patient, you will loose some desire to eat as much as well. Your appetite will slowly change as your body changes. This is coming from personal experience, and also some of the advice was taken from weight watchers experts. If you got yourself here, you can very well get yourself out! You can break the cycle. I believe in you. I'm just a random person online who took the time to type this because I know you can do it. Good luck.

I have the same cycle, but with smoking. I usually give up for an year or so and get happier, but tnen the call of the cancer-stick just gets to be too much and I start smoking when I'm chilling with my friends. Desire eventually drives you to unhappiness

It's an eating disorder. I can't remember what it's called, but it's not good to eat for comfort.

    Edit: Binge eating disorder.
    Get help.

Nope not a bit. I reply when someone calls me a cunt out of the blue. That means I am insecure? How is that? I would love to know the answer to that, hold the tongue please.
